Comic-Con International: San Diego is concluding today. Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada held his annual Cup o’ Joe panel on Saturday, with some interesting hints for the future:
-The title “Loners” was seen on a slide show. No art accompanied the word. But as frequent visitors to Marvel.com’s online wiki-style Marvel Universe database know, Loners is the title now used for Excelsior, the team that debutted in Runaways that includes former Warriors Turbo and Darkhawk, as well as Power Packer Julie Power. A comic starring this team has been hinted at by writer Brian K. Vaugh for some time. Now, it looks as though that time could be coming. No information beyond showing the title was given.
-Quesada indicated that Annihilation, which has been starring Nova, would continue in some form after the conclusion of the 6-issue mini-series event.
-Quesada revealed that Marvel has been trying to get a Cloak & Dagger mini-series off the ground. He would first like to find a way to remove their status as mutants.
