- Significance of appearance: The third chronological appearance of Peter Parker’s clone, who would come to be known as Ben Reilly and later the Scarlet Spider. Most of the story takes place within Ben’s mind during a hypnosis session with his creator Prof. Miles Warren aka the Jackal, so it could be debated that a lot of the panels don’t really count as an actual appearance. The final page occurs simultaneously with Amazing Spider-Man #149 page 17 panel 6 to page 18 panel 1 from 1975.
