• Significance of appearance: The conclusion to the ‘untold origin’ of the clone of Peter Parker (later Ben Reilly and the Scarlet Spider). The first half of the story covers the Shea Stadium scene in Amazing Spider-Man #149, sometimes using the exact same dialogue and similar paneling and artwork. However the clone’s perspective is added through the use of narration. The second half of the story is new and shows him discovering that he isn’t the original Peter Parker. Pages 1 to 5 occur simultaneously with Amazing Spider-Man #149 page 18 panel 2 to page 27.
