Actually, her name is spelled with a “d”, Angel Salvadore, almost always in the comics. You can check any of them you’d like, and I don’t own her Exiles appearances, but throughout New X-Men it is “Salvadore,” with no “t.”

  2. Corey Says:

    Thanks!

I don’t have any of her pre-New Warriors appearances yet so I was going off of someone’s email I think.

  3. RonnieThunderbolts Says:

Oh, another point, they’ve never been called married in the comics either. They are both the parents, and they are dating, but only online have they ever been called married, and only by fans.

  4. Corey Says:

Marvel.com has them listed as husband and wife, too. I suppose I could change it to “domestic partner” or something like that.

  5. RonnieThunderbolts Says:

I guess it could have happened off panel too. A good question for a letters page, or to ask the author, I suppose.

  6. Jeph! Says:

I betcha that Marvel just didn’t want to have their hero characters portrayed as unwed parents. BAH!

  7. RonnieThunderbolts Says:

Eh, could be Jeph, but their minor mistakes are frequent, like mispelling Bucky’s last name on his online bio, and many, many more. Naw, I hope they’re still unwed, for one, I’m not sure what Tempest’s legal status/guardianship thing would be, but she should still be under 18, she was 14 when she joined the Institute and met Beak, and that would be like 2 years ago Marvel time, and she’d still need parental or guardian to approve any marriage, and her parents weren’t too happy with her last we saw them. Maybe the Institute got guardianship, I could see Charles letting two wards get hitched, if for no other reason than to help things seem on the up and up.

Who knows until its stated on panel though.

  8. Jason Says:

Wasn’t Angel dead in the end of the Exiles House of M run? and didn’t Angel return to earth 616 with his powers AFTER house of m as well?

  9. Jeph! Says:

    No and no.
