*Guardians of the Galaxy Annual #1: How does this one-page feature actually take place, you ask? Call it creative licensing on my part. Vance Astro and Marvel Boy aren’t really standing next to each other. They’re both talking about a similar topic in their own respective times, and this story just so happens to edit and synch up their dialogue just so. Who are they talking to? Why their teammates, of course, as shown in the final panel. Don’t like that idea? Okay. Vance is actually writing in his computer diary, and we’re getting flashbacks to accompany it. I know it’s a stretch, but the flashback of baby Vance is too precious and significant to ignore. Special thanks to StAkAr Karnak for convincing me to include this issue, although I’m sure this isn’t what he had in mind.

**Avengers #501-503: Avengers Finale and posts made by editor Tom Brevoort imply that it is possible these appearances were actually mystical constructs created by the Scarlet Witch.
